Julia Martin is only a cabaret singer on the Eris. She has been with the boat for years, after a disappointing career on Broadway. She is young, and she will evolve.
Dave Sturgis knows the odds are bad. But he and his wife Elaine are determined to try to get back to the States in hopes of finding their children, alive, hopefully. They convince the Captain to drop them, nine hundred of them, in Tulum, on the Yucatan coast.
